From our base in Aztec, N.M., Hydro Pure Technology, Inc., represents 25 employees serving more than 20 clients, including the expansive natural gas industry throughout northwest New Mexico and southwest Colorado. In 2008 we were honored by the San Juan Economic Development Service as the top small business in northern New Mexico. Hydro Pure’s high-volume water services are crucial to the operation of natural gas wells and production systems. Our mission is to apply the industry’s best technology to meet client needs in a timely and innovative manner.


JOE WILLIAMS — President and Founder

Joe Williams has four decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. He launched Hydro Pure in 1991, which soon became a leader in the production and hauling of ultra-pure water. Currently, Joe is researching and developing  evaporation water systems to treat produced water. This technology will allow waste processing that is cost-effective, environmentally friendly and suitable for high-population areas.

His professional and community affiliations include: president, Bondadoso Inc. (dba Sierra Cleaning); project manager, Saddle Butte Pipeline Company LLC; project manager, M3 Appalachia Gather System; economic development board member, San Juan Economic Development Service; former board chairman, United Way of SW Colorado’s Allocations Committee; and president and district foundation chairman, Rotary Club of Durango (Durango Daybreak Club).

JAN WILLIAMS — Co-Owner and Corporate Financial Officer

Jan manages all financial aspects of Hydro Pure Technology. Her professional background includes area manager for Pyxis Corporation’s Healthcare Inventory Control Systems; and pharmacy information systems specialist for HBO and Company. Her current community affiliations include serving the past 16 years in various leadership roles for Rotary International. She is a past board member of both the Mesa Verde Foundation and the Red Cross of Southwest Colorado.

MIKE TALOVICH — Operations Manager

Mike has more than 30 years of oil and gas industry experience with specialized expertise in well servicing and fluid management. Mike helped build and manage New Mexico’s first Class I commercial disposal facility, and soon after, as facility manager, was responsible for maintaining fluid injection and land farm remediation systems, and ensuring NMOCD permit compliance. At Hydro Pure, Mike developed and manages the company’s oil-separation services, and oversees numerous fluid-management projects including produced water purification, produced water evaporation, and used-oil recycling and marketing.
